With gorgeous vocal harmonies and a versatile musical set-up that includes clawhammer banjo, acoustic guitars, mandolin and occasional harmonica, The Honey Dewdrops treat listeners to a raft of memorable, beautifully performed songs blending folk and acoustic Americana with a hint of bluegrass. Hailing from Virginia, Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish settled in Baltimore in 2014 after a long stretch of living on the road. The Honey Dewdrops have released five albums to date, including their latest release Anyone Can See. Both their recordings and live performances have received glowing reviews, often described as “mesmerising” and “evocative”.
The Honey Dewdrops are celebrating their 9th year of touring full time, having played stages and festivals far and wide in North America and Europe. With tight harmonies and an exquisite musical ensemble their effect is to leave listeners with only what matters: the heart of the song and clarity over ornamentation.
